My story:
In 2011, my life changed in an instant.
I had been working in health care administration since 1999, and by that summer, I was burned out, discouraged, and exhausted by the industry. Then, one ordinary Sunday afternoon, I was hit by an SUV while walking out of the grocery store.
This wasn’t a bump in the parking lot—it was a full impact. I flew nearly ten feet. While in the air, time seemed to suspend. I knew instinctively that if I stayed down, I wouldn’t survive. So I got up. Miraculously, nothing was broken, nothing ruptured. On the outside, I looked fine. But inside, I was in excruciating pain—and even more, I was left with one unshakable question:
Why was I still here?
That question became the doorway to everything that followed. I began to understand what it meant to live with “invisible pain,” and it gave me a deep empathy for others carrying burdens no one else can see. And it also awakened something in me: a call to heal.
At the time, I had no idea what that meant. My background was in accounting and administration—I liked things that fit neatly in boxes. But this didn’t fit in any box I knew. And since I had no desire to get hit by anything else to get the message, I began to learn.
I studied Reiki, energy healing, psychology, meditation, life coaching, sound healing and more. I explored everything from hypnosis to crystals, from intuition to essential oils. Piece by piece, I stepped into a whole new way of being. For the first time, I felt at home in my own skin.
That accident—the day that should have ended everything—actually gave me my beginning. It awakened my gifts, my empathy, and my purpose.
Today, I help others who find themselves in transition—those standing at a crossroads, carrying invisible pain, or searching for meaning after life has shaken them. Together, we create clarity, healing, and the courage to move forward.
